Ok, the rubber linning on the top of the door is cracked where do i get new ones and how do i install it?

hard top but let me rephrase...im talking about the rubber that holds the windown in place.

i think you may mean the felt strip that goes on top of the door on the outside of the window. like this one. may not be the best image.

if it is this one you have to remove the door panel one the inside of the car. and then loosen the window felt tabs 2 of them to alow the window to tilt in toward the interior so you can get at the screws. i think there are about 8 screws that hold it in place. pretty easy to change. check out hawks sponosred link on this page they have them.

I noticed the image that you are talking about. Do you have to order the plastic bit along with the rubber or can you order it separately? Its a shame to have to pay most of the money for the plastic if not needed.

the black pastic triangle that the window rides in? that does not come with the wiper strip.
