Check out a search on window tint removal and you'll find a couple methods. Be careful not to rip off the defroster, unless you don't want it anymore. Good luck

i heard spraying a mist of amonia? on it and wraping it up in a garbage bag while letting it sit for a good 24 hours most of which should be in the sun will make the tint just peel off.

Ha.. I'm doing it now and will finish tomorrow. Use a spray bottle filled with warm soapy water. Yes, dish soap! That is apparently what is used to soften the glue to put the tinting on. Have some holes and tears in the tinting, did we? Same here. It sucks when you get tint that is purple and has holes in it, don't it? And you must have a razor scraper on hand. that will help to peel up the edge of the tint so you can peel that crap off in large pieces, and use it again to remove the glue, otherwise your side windows sound like s**t when you roll them down, and they like to stick as well.

I took mine off the same way. Peeled the tint off and then had to remove the glue. Use the soapy water or the stuff that the tint company sells at Wal-Mart. The spray bottle helps to spread it in little particles that will stick to the glue and begin to break it down.
Bring a towel.
It's like scaping snot off of a window with a butter knife. Drips all over the interior and it is sticky as hell too.

Mine didn't drip too bad, probably because it was cold.
But, since I've stripped my interior anyways and have custom soundproofing (insulation, etc.) in the back hatch area, I don't have to worry about it.
