new paint job

im finally puttin my car away to get it painted!! i had a blow out a few weeks ago, totally ruined the front fender, so i got that replaces, i shaved the antenna and im shaving the rocker emblems more than likely tomorrow still thinking should i?? im gettin it painted at Maaco, i know what you all are thinkin but i only got 1,500 from the insurance, and i bought new rims and i needed something done with my steering, so i just have enough for the presidential pack for 349.95 includes 4 hours of body work, with the body work im gonna see if they can remove every little ding, they better with that 4 hours i could make the body flawless in 4 hours haha, because there isnt many dings, also im gonna add in some clear coat to top that off, is there anything i should do before i take it there? cause they will prep it right or atleast sand it down a lil?? or what will they do, thtas what im curious about, im also gettin viper red, so i hope that will look good, not sure on the code but i will find out at Maaco and see what they offer, sorry it is long, but i need recommentions bad, so please help me, thanks a lot

your in for a rude awakening my friend.....i had 70 hours into my body and it was perfect but i wanted it flawless.

macco is only good for cheap paint. some people get luck and most don't. drive up, put on your blind fold and drop your drawers hoping you get lucky.

but, to give you some helpful advice pull everything off the car that you don't want painted or oversprayed. if you aren't fortunate enough to know a body man try to find one....don't rush into painting your car. try to do as much prep work on the car yourself so that the 4 hours they have can be used wisely.

good luck.
