Help with hood liner removal/inst
I recently came across a pair of NOS hood louvers for my 89 IROC-Z - cherry, a nice find.
Three questions
- What's the safest way to get the hood liner down with out tearing it?
-This is in regards to the plastic push in thingys (I don't know what you call them) that hold the liner up - I can forsee destroying some of them in the removal process - where can I find new ones?
- And, does anyone know how the louvers attach to the hood? Do they use self threading nuts that thread onto the plastic studs on the underside of them?
Thanks in advance,
Kevin
