91-92 White Face Guage Download Files ANYONE HAVE THESE?
Hey all,
I was wondering if anyone has the zip file or image files for the DIY White Face Guages, more specifically for the 91-92 cars (I think they're all the same, but it's for a 92 RS V8). I've searched everywhere and no luck. DIY used to be hosted on Mike Key's site which has now turned to...well, I'll let you see, I'm not quite sure what to make of it , and the poor man's only has old V6 guages. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks
Tony

Well, I got em, printed em, and put em on. A few points to watch:
1) Scaling: Everyone says just print them out, they're to scale...The ones I had were like 12" * 10"...not gonna fit. I scaled them down using photoshop using a scale of 36% *THIS IS NOT AN ACCEPTED MEASUREMENT BY ANY MEANS, USE THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK, DO NOT B!TCH AT ME IF IT DOESN'T WORK** That being said, it worked great for me
Edit: These images are really goofy. Let me elaborate, when I opened the tach up in paint, it comes in as 12.5 x 10.94 at a resolution of 96x96 per inch. This requires a rescaling of 48%. When I open it in photoshop, it comes in as 16.667 x 14.583 with a resolution of 72 pixels per inch. The image size is SUPPOSED to be 6" by 5.25" which in photoshop requires a rescaling of 36%. If you don't want to rescale it (which I recommend) change the resolution to 72*(1/.36) = 200 pixels per inch. This should preserve the original quality and print better as well. I've added the re-resolutioned pictures to the zip file, these ones should just print off correctly without any resizing.
2) For the 91-92 Gauges, Make sure to cut out the center part of the Volt/Oil/Batt/Fuel because the blinkers and high beams go there, I'm not sure if they'll shine through whatever paper you use.
3) Before you even take the gauge cluster out of it's spot in the dash, make a mental note of where the needles are, they move really really easily, so write that down and do the instructions in the DIY Article
That should cover it, enjoy!

when i pull it up it says it has to go on-line to find the proper system to open the program with, i hit ok, and then it comes up with page cannot be displayed. It may have just been an issue with my intrernet at that particular moment. I'll try again when I get off work this evening.
