Its unique, but I wouldn't even buy one. GM has been trying out this idea for quite a while now.

don't know that you're right on that cammy. That was a Pontiac concept vehicle - designed off of the GTA lineage. The idea has been done on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th gen cars. None of them ever took off. That's one rare bird though. Take a look at www.gtasourcepage.com to find some more info about that particular car.

Nope, that guy didn't do much work. Check out the page below, about halfway down.
Its the same car as in the picture, its Pontiacs concept car. Or the pic you posted is a VERY good imitation of it.

i think it's friggin sweet, not when you compare it to a coupe, but when you put the wagon in the same class as the impala ss, a performance family car, then it kicks some ***

It's definately unique and clean, and it follows the body lines well... But I don't know if I would ever try to own one
There is a 4th gen WS6 very similar to this, but it's not GM as far as I know. It called the Hurst Hauler, owned by Hurst, and it has the rear hatch shaped like a wagon too.

It was part of the group of cars GM brought to the birthday bash at the corvette museum. So yeah it is the real thing.

Well, its very practical. And yeah, there have been a number of station waggon firebird prototypes... If this isn't one of those is a very good copy.
I'd have one

I like it, but not becauise it's cool or nice looking. I like it because it is unique, and because it is rare. GM (probably Ford & Dodge too) seemed to have a wagon fetish for the longest time. I had an old 85 or 86 is Hot Rod with a Corvette wagon in it, calkled the Corvette Chaser. Actually it was a Caprice wagon with a full Vette interior (dash, seats, the whole nine yards) TPI 350, IRS etc., basically it was a wagon body on a Vette chassis. It performed well, and is probably where the Impala SS was spawned from. The coolest thing was the bumper sticker it had on it, "Wagons were built to haul things. This wagon was built to haul ***". Over the years they've tried all kinds of things like that, but if they'd have spent those dollars on marketing, or better yet, even better performance the F-bodies would still be on sale, instead of being a very fond memory.

Hey, it looks like a deformed 4th gen!
As for the GTA Kamback, I like the side profile. And it certainly would turn heads wherever it went.

i think the baddest station wagon i know is my buddy James' 1981 malibu station wagon. he has a d-3 procharger blowing through a dfi controlled, fuel injected, 540 cubic inch bbc. that thing is bad! he has 10pt cage, parachute, and a 4inch cowl hood, other than that, the thing has stock interior, stock color, it's bad. i wish i could get some pics of that. he has run a best of 9.47 @ 147. weighing in at a whopping 3855lbs! the thing still had a ton left in it and we are planning on putting an intercooler in it this winter.

Hey a performance Vista Cruiser! What a POS. Yeah it was done with effort but does that mean it should still have been done? Who ever had the bright idea of making that needs a good B**** slapping! Just my opinion!
