i am taking apart my interior and i cant get the friggen driving light thing of, you know the thing you pull to turn on/off your lights, i need this to come off so i can get at that plastic dohicky behind it

pull it out, stick a small screwdriver or a pen behind it (the ***). There's a lil metal clip that holds it on that has to be pressed to get it off. I dunno how far you're trying to get into the dash. Next in line there's a plastic screw type thing that holds the switch in, you can get that off w/a flathead screwdriver. If you're trying to get the light switch out, disconnect the wires, and then to get it to drop out (down thru the bottom of the dash) , there's a lil spring loaded pin under the switch, press that and pull on the post from the switch, and it'll come out. THen the switch should just drop down. hope that helps
