zr1 which offset for 89 formula

I have an 89 formula 350 and I bought a set of 17x9.5 zr1 rims from ebay. My question is is a 38mm offset going to be a problem?? I heard I need spacers or adapters but should I have gotten the 56mm offset rims instead?? Please help

You'll need adapters for both offsets to work on a 3rd gen, just thicker ones on the 56mm vs. the 38mm ones. Search the web for Skulte and you'll find more info...
