Idea for a new hood
I was thinking about what would be a cool hood for a Firebird and I thought... what if there was a hood, like the stock one, but that had a raised firdbird all across the top of it. Like imagine if the big bird hood decal was raised, but it was all part of the hood. Like bulging up.
What do you think that would look like?

I think it would be real hot if it was done right. =)
I'm including a picture here of TZFBird's headliner (hope you don't mind) because this headliner has this bird popping out of it. I was thinking something like this, but longer, of course to fit the hood, and more detailed. Very 3D.

how intricate and detailed can u get with fiberglass? im assuming thats what u would be using? IMO without the fine lines and attention to detail it could look like a major hack job, but o so sweet if its done right

I put 'r.i.c.e.y.' since 'looks like poop' wasn't an option. ![Stick Out Tongue](https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/images/smilies/tongue.gif)
I dont think it would look good, but that's just me. I'd still give a thumbs-up for the originality.

camarogirl18 - Nope, I can't make that headliner because I have t-tops.
posbird87 - In order for something like this hood to work, it would have to be done out of a mold, I would think, as fiberglass would be too hard to cut out that detailed. I know I am personally not skilled enough to do something like this. If not done properly, I think it would look like feces. But if it could be done right...
