Interior Dash Lights Ah!

Interior Dash Lights Ah!

WEll i cant figure out y my darn interior dash lights dont work. Im refering to the lights that light up around the guages and the shifter. The outside lights work when i pull out the *** but the interiordash and shifter dont work. Hoever, when the *** is pulled out and the headlights are on if i tunr the *** all the way to the right nad barely push it in the lights coem on! But as soon as i let go they go off. What is losse and causing this, How can i fix it! Please help

from the sound of that, it might be your light switch that is giving you the trouble

Someone just asked the same question in the electronics section. I had the same problem just not as bad and replaced the headlight switch today. Only hard part was the speedometer cable. You may not have one to worry about. Not sure what year changed to electronic.

I bet it's your headlight switch. I've heard they go bad after awhile.
