body lock cylinder question
i only have the ignition key for my 84 z28. as this is a problem, i would like to replace the lock cylinders so i can lock the car up when i go somewhere.
since i work at napa, i'm looking at replacing the locks with the parts below....
http://www.napaonline.com/cgi-bin/nc...grpid=28480263
my question is..... does the lock for the hatch use the same cylinder as the doors? if not, where can i get a replacement? i don't want to pay to have the car re-keyed if i don't have to.
thanks in advance.

They are different, but you should be able to have a locksmith change the guts of your existing hatch lock cylinder to accept your 'new' door keys; don't forget about the locking compartment in the hatch...
