Door Panel Questions
I just received my door panels from Hawk's. (Highly recommended) The quality is outstanding and they are very close to original GM panels. There is a template on the backing so you know where to cut for your handles and armrests and things of that nature.
My Question is this. What do I use to cut the material so that I don't tear anything up real bad? Can I just use a razor blade? Will that be clean enough?
I did a search but wasn't able to find the exact answer I am looking for. Thanks as always.

I would get a box cutter to initially get through the board material, then use an extremely sharp exacto knife from a hobby store for "detailing" cuts.

Pics of the panels? Or pics of everything inside the car? I don't actually have either. I don't have a camera. Although I wouldn't mind getting a cheap one to post photos. It would help me explain things easier half the time.
Sorry no photos this time. Maybe in the near future. I will definatley post when the interior is completed.
Actually I don't have to go through the board backing. It's pre-cut. So I should just use an exacto knife to go through the material for my "detailed cuts". I was just wondering if anyone had any advice on this. I would hate to screw this up. So I thought I would ask first. Thanks for the replies.

I would, but I would rather spend money on my car.
I haven't installed the door panels yet. They are cut and ready to install. But I have the delux molded GTA style panels and I need to change the armrests to make that work. So I am going to the boneyard this weekend to get some armrests.
