91 IROC Grill on 89 IROC

91 IROC Grill on 89 IROC
I want to put the 91 IROC style grill (the one with the red Bowtie) on my 89 IROC, has anyone done this?
will it fit ok?

i believe they are all the same fitment wise, just a matter of whats on it. so yes, it should fit.
BTW, there was no '91 IROC, they were not made after 12/31/89. 1990 was the last model year. so it would be a 91 Z28.

Car: 87 IROC (looks like 91-92 Z28 tho huh?)
Engine: 355
Transmission: T-56
It will fit no problem. Same exact part other than the logo on the front. In case you are wondering, the ground effects are a direct swap as well. Here's my car that started out as a 87 IROC, but now looks like a 91/92 Z28.
You can't see the bowtie grill because of the licence plate. They just reinstated the law that makes you have a front plate, so I took off my nice bowtie grill and mounted the plate to the old "camaro" grill. I save the bowtie grill for shows
