high rise spolier convert

Car: 1990 rs, pride and joy
Engine: 305 tbi
Transmission: t-5
high rise spolier convert

Right now i have the regular spolier not the high rise z28 one. Now is this going to be hard to convert, going from the low one to the z28 high rise? 90 rs if that helps

Certainly is, if you don't mind all the remaining holes left from taking off the original 3 piece off.
The 3 piece, when removed, needs to have the holes filled in the decklid and the ¼ panels as well. There's a few ways to do it but, welding is the better of them. The highrise bolts to the outer edges of the decklid and on the center post (of the wing to the decklid). New holes will have to be drilled and old filled. This is not a simple bolt on and call it a day install (unless you go for the dual spoiler look... )
Even if you had the (I [think it was 88 only) low rise, the 91-2 high rise still doesn't share the same holes exactly.

I did the conversion on my 90 rs and used a 92 hatch so i still had the third brake light

another you can kind of see the holes down the side plus there r alot more on the hatch

It looks pretty good from the side but our rears are a little wider than the camaro's,

you have to take out the interior trim panels on the inside

Its bolted on , gut the trunk area remove the taillights and the plugs in the deck and its off. Filling the holes will almost double the price a body shop will charge to do the job unless you know em good.

Don't forget also, taking out the tail lamps to access the topside corner nuts.
