Fixing the hood gap

I searched on this and came up with only a few threads which basically told me to adjust the latch down. So I did that and the hood has the same gap as before. Is there anything else I can try or is the front nose just so sagged that I can't match it to the hood again?

Theres 2 bolts infront of the radiator that holds onto the center of the light bar. You will need two people for the job. One person loosens the 2 bolts and the other gets under the car and pushes up on the whole nose assembly. Once you think its in the right spot tighten it all up. Mine was like that after I put the car back together, I did that to the front end and it fixed the grand canyon gap

I just loosened those 2 bolts lowered mine down and it fixed it ull also have to lower the bump stops if they r to high dont forget. Also if u lower it to much it isnt good also and if 1 corner is lower than the other just raise that bump stop. It just takes a lil messin around with its really fun when u have the fenders and hood off then have to line all the gaps back up.Still not to bad just takes a lil time.

That only works if the hood is sitting higher than the fenders.
To correct the gap as stated, 85SC is correct.

I had this same problem with my car. The owner before me let his daughter drive the 91 firebird and she went right underneath the back end of a loading truck. The front nose was pushed down and bent that little triangle bracket pretty badly. I really didn't bother much with it until I put on the Ram Air II hood the other day and noticed how poorly it fit. Then, I realized that it wasn't the hoods problem, just the front nose. So my buddy and I took it to his shop where there's a lift. We completely took out that triangle bracket and then stuck a flat board about 6 inches long underneath the flat space in the front nose in front of the radiator. Then we put the car on the lift and a 5 foot tall board underneath it with the end pressing up on the other board and dropped the car down slowly on it several times pushing the front nose up. After about 5 drops with the boards in different locations, it's almost near perfect. You just have to be careful you don't drop the car on the board too fast that you'd either crush your hands or tip the car off the lift, but it was definitely worth the trouble going through. I hope I didn't confuse you about this. Hope this helps.
