Hatch not closing tight

ok i have a 1986 Firebird Trans Am. I have noticed that the hatch doesn't really like to close as tighly as most cars do. I mean it locks and everything, but you can pull the hatch up and down about 2 or 3mm. A little side to side but i'm not worried about that to much. Has anyone had this problem, if so how did you fix it? Would realighning he hatch fix this problem? Thnaks for your time.

This doesn't have anything to do with Appearance and Detailing, so I'm moving it to Body for you. Be sure to check out the other forums so that you can post questions in the right one.

Try a search too, I'm almost certain this question has been asked before.
