RAM AIR Hoods
Is anyone here using one of the WS6 Ram Air Style hoods from RAMAIRHOOD.COM for a 3rd gen Firebird? I was thinking about getting one for my 92.
Thanks

We spent hours adjusting mine. the back drivers side stuck up and we had to adjust the hinge to lower the corner. in front had to adjust bumper cover, rubber stops, headlight on one side, but you can expect to have problems with aftermarket fiberglass. I'm now building a frame around the new air filter box to seal with the hood so that the ram air has a chance of working. you also need to open the inside of the air ducts the seal them so the air dose not flow through the hood.

I was trying to compair the two hoods from RamAirHood.com and American Sports Car Design, but it seems RamAir is not interested in doing business or answering e-mails. Anybody ever seem both of these hoods?

My friend has the RamAirHoods one and I have the ASCD one.
This is the ASCD
This is the RamAirHoods one. (hood wasn't latched down in this pic and I don't have another one with it latched)
