Manual Mirror to Power Mirror swap
Hi,
Is there anybody have did Manual mirror to Power mirror swap before??
My firebird is manual mirror, I need to adjust it everytime when I park (to look at the ground), its got poor function, is that easy to do a Power mirror swap??

Well, if you aren't intimidated by running a lot of wires, then it's not too hard. I think there are 5 wires that go from each mirror to the center console on a firebird, I think the camaros have the control on the door.
I'll be doing the conversion on my 88 Formula sometime this year, not really a priority at the moment, but I will do it eventually.
There may be a relay or two, but I am not sure since I haven't looked at it in depth.

Car: 1991 Camaro RS Vert
Engine: 305 (L03)
Transmission: 700 R4
I will be doing it shortly, I got the original wiring too, just need to run it through the dash. Doesn't look to hard, looked a lot more intimidating when i had to get the wiring out of the harness for it but looks pretty straight forward.

I have the wires run for mine and just need to install the mirrors. Just take your time and it's no biggie. Just takes a bit of time to do right. I'm a bit worried I'll screw up the cut uot for the switch too.
