Shifter Plate Lighting
My shifter plate does not light up, where are the blubs under the panel?
This is driving me crazy at night!
Thanks, Jensen

The shifter plate consists of six screws, usually torx screws. I've used allen keys to take these off with zero stripping, but it's probably better to get torx bits to remove them. There are actually 8 on the plate, but two of them are just decoration. Take off the four surrounding the ash tray door, and the two at the rear of the shift plate. Raise the whole plate up (it will travel along the shifter handle, no need to remove the ****), and you'll see a white casing with a bulb harness and two wires going to it. Twist the bulb harness a 1/4 turn and it will pop out, allowing you to change the bulb, size 194. If the harness simply isn't in there, it very likely could have fallen out if someone else messed with it, just have a look around in there.
