Upholostery Repair

Yeah, so I was cleaning out my car a few days ago and noticed a nice piece of my rear passenger seat was almost ripped off. The piece is about the size of a nickel and is still on but will likely fall off soon. Is there anyway to reapir it without making it too noticeable or recover the whole seat?

I have seen a fabric repair kit, that uses a small section of original fabric, that you chop into tiny little pieces and mix it into a powdered glue mixture. You sprinkle this "dust" on the rip, and iron over it to melt it into place.

Main problem is getting small piece of the original fabric to put in the mix.

You'll probably find this type of product on the net somewhere.
