Speedometer repair help needed!

Ok, I bought a 145mph speedometer from a board member and when I received it, the piece that has the spring attached to it was broken. I have an 85mph speedometer and was wondering if I could simply switch the spring and face? If so how do I get the spring off of the little shaft that it is on?

Well, I thought I would leave an answer to this question for any one else that ,ay need this info.

Yes you can remove the spring from the shaft and switch it to a new shaft. I used a fork to hold the spring center piece and then lightly beat the shaft out of the spring. It is then a matter of carefully beating the spring onto the other shaft.
