POR 15 on floor pan

i want to use por 15 to cover the floor pan of my car but was wondering if it would be ok just to do the floor inside the car or do i have to get under the car and do the bottom as well?

to really stop the rust, you have to get both sides. if you just do the floor side, you will stop any rust from getting through to the bottom of your carpet, but underneath the car will continue to rust away

Cold Dark Shadow- is the rust all the way thru- or a spot on the top of the pan where water pooled from leaking? If its rusting from the top down and the bottom is not rusted, coating just the top would be ok.
Diabolical- where in CT? I'm in Southington

I live in New Milford, but I work in Southbury. Not to far from Southington. My friend's exgirlfriend used to live in Southington.

Por 15 really only works if its in contact w/ bare or rusty metal, according to them- its also very expensive. Best advise to prevent rust-
1) keep it clean
2) fix any body gasket leaks
3) fix any damage as soon as it happens
4) inspect suspect areas-wheel wells, behind trim or gfx

Rustoleum works good on protecting good metal.
