How do you know if you are getting a fair price on used body parts?

I'm restoring a 92 Z28 and need 2 doors, front fenders, hood, front bumper, etc. I'm not sure how much you can typically get these parts for and was wondering if there is a guideline you can use to tell how much used parts typically sell for.

Supply and demand or how bad do you need that part. No set price on used parts.

With that many parts needed, you might be better off scoring a parts car.

It's my experience that bone yards are generally open to negotiation. Of course, occasionally the yard man doesn't really know what he has, so the price is low (I bought an overhead console with flashlight for $10, an L69 dual snorkel for $30, and, believe it or not, a 1LE alum drive shaft for $30 SHIPPED). Go to several yards if possible. You might get a 'deal' if you buy everything you need from one yard.
