well yesterday i had my keys in my car cause i showed my friend how it sounded and i was pullng a motor so i kept them in my car. well last night i get home around 1 and forgot the keys were in it and locked the doors. how do i break in this car?

Get a locksmith.
I once locked my keys in the and I tried using a coat hanger to open it, it was by my mothers house and all of her neighbors thought I was stealing my car. So someone called the cops on me they pull up on me and ask for my registration so I showed them.
You would think they would pull out their slim jim and help nope they just laughed at left me alone.
Well at this point I am pissed, so I am trying like hell to pull on the handle hard but keep missing it. All the while not realizing that I cracked my dashboard, made 2 holes on the windshield, broke my rubber seal and chip the paint off the pillar. When I realized this I stopped.
I gave my wife a spare key when I first got the car when I asked her if she had my copy she said no.
When I go to use her car keys to get her coat I looked at her key chain and found my spare Stupid wife
New windshield===$150.00
Used dashboard===$85.00
New rubber seal==$250.00
New smart wife ===Priceless

my friends father is a lock smith i just called him and 10 minutes opened the door. he thought it was hard cause he was trying to get the lock from the back side, then he put one of them things that pulled the window out alittle hit the little unlock button and opened, made me a key, told me 10 bucks but i threw him 20 since he was so quickly here and made me a key and stuff

try calling places with tow trucks. the body shop i worked for we had a kit for opening cars. i can get into my camaro in 2 min or less. If you were to buy the kit it cost about 150 to 200 dollars and it shows you how to open any car. the kit has like 15 peices to it for different cars. Just make sure you don't get someone that wants to use a slim jim. on our cars it hard to use and can bend or brake things in the door

I locked my keys in the car a few times...I was at the track once and some guys did it with a slimjim...I was then at the store and I did it with a coat hanger......dont try hitting the lock release, youll never get enough force to push it..you gotta pull the lock lever, just keep at it and take your time...keep bending the coat hanger till its just the right shape to get a good piece of the lever and then just pull....

I have the automotive locksmith tools and the way to open a thirdgen is through the slit under the door handle hinge.
This is also the way to open up other cars as well.
I've helped a few people open unlock thier doors, not with my tools but just knowing the proper way for certain vehicles. The kit has step by step instructions and about 10 or so tools.
It's made by MAC tools.

I can be in a thirdgen in less than 10 seconds using nothing more then the radio antenna.

I agree. I locked my keys in at work and I was able to get in the car in less than 30 seconds with my antenna. Makes you wonder why people still don't have alarms installed on these cars!...

I should have thought about that.. Except it was on a Pontiac car (not f-body) I locked me, my mom, and sister out of the car while we had two carts of groceries (frozen crap, etc!!) (NOT MY FAULT.. the keys for the accessories were on a different key ring than the ignition keys.. she failed to mention this ) We were looking all over for a coat hanger, etc.
My mom even borrowed a lug-nut thing (the name escapes me at the minute.. noo!) and tried smashing the window.. damn thing didn't even get a SCRATCH.
We found a coat hanger at one point, though. And while my mom was trying to get it open I was like "There's no way you can grab the latch with that" ... stupid me, she went for the power-locks and she EASILY got it open. If only we thought of the antenna.. we woulda been out of there real quick.

i never leave my keys in my car, but i have a hidden key somewhere outside where i know where it always is just in case, and it's hidden pretty good too, so i don't have to worry about someone finding it.

A funny thing that I realized after having my car broken into was... The people who actually KNOW HOW TO break into our cars, are the people who WOULDN'T do it in the first place, yet the people who DO break into our cars are the ones that have no clue and mess up my entire door skin and everything to remove the key hole and unlock the door...

Hmm no one's mentioned this yet. If you have Camaro with the power release on the hatch you can slide a yard stick inbetween the weather stripping and window glass. Slide it until it pushes the button back far enough to pop the hatch. Can be done in under than 30 secs. I always always go thru a routine when I get out of my car, wallet, keys, lock, shut the door :sillylol: every time :sillylol:

dam, dont any of you guys have microsoft paint? lazy SOB's... i found out not to long ago, that i no longer need a key to start my taurass.. most of the time... I can pull it out when the car is running and hook it back to my belt so i dont lock it in my car. Its such a bitch to break into my taurass.. i had to do it 2 times..

the plate idea gave me an idea... how about the rear license plate? it folds down, and would be a good place... hummmm maybe... but i always check if i have my camaro keys on me before i shut the door. its a habbit. Maybe if you put like 200 keychains on the key, you wont lock them in the car, cause you will not forget thoes keys?

You can tell by my name, I consider myself an expert on this subject Yes, these cars are a breeze to open. the 4thgens are just as easy. If you want to keep your radio, get an alarm. If you want to keep your car, don't disable the VATS system. Technically, car opening tools are against the law in VA, but it's not enforced. In this state, it's even considered a breaking-and-entering tool in my hands! There is no locksmith liscence in this stupid state, even though we tried to get it changed. A spare key in the wallet is the best idea, and calling AAA is the worst. AAA pays diddly-squat for locksmiths, so the good ones(like me) don't do AAA calls. Chances are, the guy that comes out will f*&$ up your car.

never saw them keys before!.. as for the license plate that folds down.. didn't know that either, i got an 89 trans am i it doesn't.
