I lock'em too.. Maybe your friends would try and be stupid and unlatch it while driving... besides, if you know any ways to make your car easier stolen, wouldn't you want to fix the problem?

Ok well this may sound stupid but it worked for me.
I was stock at my job during rain and I HAD to get into my car. I wrap 3 coat hanger together so it would have strenght. pryed the passenger window and popped the electric trunk openner.

if you take a ruler and go in from the back of the door about 3 inches, and stick the ruler down into the door from the outside, you'll feel something click. while you feel that lift the handle and the door will open heh. Works every time on F-bods.

I've lock my only keys in the car...
Ok I know it's dumb to only have one set of keys....now that we've agreed on that. I've bought a slim jim from West Bay, how do I use it? I looked in my Haynes Manual, but there's not a good picture of the locking rod. Where on the door should a slide the slim jim in and should I pull up or push down? Thanks

i locked my keys in the car once and i called AAA to come n get me out. the guy that came had a long metal arm with a few angles on it. he just squeezed it thru the window on the side and popped the lock. less than 10 secs.
