Fender to Nose Bolts

Fender to Nose Bolts

I know some of them are 10mm, but there's this plastic looking one that we can't just get out. Here's a pic.

Also, these are the only bolts that we need to take the nose out right? (plus the ones up top)

when i took mine off i used some pliers and just rip them out and if that doesnt work then take a screwdriver and push in the middle like this \l/ take the screwdriver and push in the middle..i cant explain it real goos so sorry if this doesnt help any

89v6fbird, unless yours is different in 89 (mines 85) that is actually a metal stud attached to the nose that fits through the hole in the fender. The thing around the stud is called a speed nut and is threaded on there. I do believe it is 11mm (same as for the door handles). Because of the size of the stud I needed to use a deep socket. Comes off nice and easy though. There should be 2 per side. I do believe the second is way way way up in the top corner (hard to get at).

forgot to mention, no those are not the only bolts. THere are also a bunch of plastic clips underneath that have to be removed.
