Carbon Fiber gauge overlays

Anyone know of any gauge overlays being done to resemble carbon fiber? Since there are all different colors and reverse glow styles available I figure someone would either be making carbon fiber or at least be developing them. Anyone know of any?

Not that I am aware of. But that would be something worth looking at. I am not a big fan of carbon fiber. It's too big on the import scene but it might look good on a Firebird dash.

Well,I recently received some Autometer Carbon Fiber gauges for my birthday and they resemble the stock grid pattern of the OEM gauges somewhat but I thought a set of overlays in carbon fiber style would make it a match and be different from the solid white. Could anyone here that has made their own be willing to do a set for me?

Are you talking about overlays, or the bezel that goes around them? I think you're talking about the bezels, which would look pretty good with white overlays I think, but I don't remember seeing any. There's a company that sells aluminum overlays on Ebay though that you could cover with carbon fiber paper I suppose.

If you are talking about actual overlays, I've never seen anything like that and I don't understand how you'd not find it distracting to have that carbon fiber lighting effect going on while you're trying to read your gauges.

I'm talking about the gauge face itself, not the bezel/trim ring. Doesn't seem too distracting to me,I've had the gauges in for almost two weeks and I've had no problems. I'm not talking about an outlandish ***** style but the same type used in the Autometer gauges.
