Thanks,

I actually ordered mine, not sure what stores carry it. Call around a couple local auto parts stores in your area and see if they carry it.

What I did was sand them really good and then bought some rust inhibitor paint (8 dollars @ paint shop) and gave it a few coats.
It looks very decent and havent had a problem yet

I first did what JLP did, but unfortunely the fix didn't last terribly long. I went to POR-15 (Paint Over Rust) several years ago, and the fix is as good as the day it was repaired. Highly recommended. I recently purchased on-line (to paint the spindles I've modified for the 1LE brake set-up I'm installing). I think the cost was $17 for the starter kit and three days to my door.

My local body supply store (H & H) carries it.

I used the Starter Kit too, in semi-gloss, for my 3.73/posi/disc rear axle swap. It was just enough to give the axle two coats, and I actually had some of the metal ready and marine wash left over. Took 2 days to get to my door, even though their company and I are in the same state. Ordered it from http://www.por15.com , though...

Rustoleum makes a same or similar product to POR-15...don't know what its called, but if you can't find POR-15 in any stores you might ask about the Rustoleum version.

Just oder it online and get in two days. I have used POR-15 and you can not beat it for stopping and sealing rust.
