Just spend the money to get a new or good condition used one. You would save yourself the trouble in the long run.

They are not that expensive. If you keep a sunshade on in the window when your not in the car and you take care of it, you should never need another one. Mine is perfect and its the original dashpad.

Bondo is NEVER the solution. It is a filler designed to repair small deep dents in hard to work on areas of the car where it would never be noticed.

There is however a fiberglass dashpad somewhere that I read about. I would imaging that it would cost alot. And you really don't need to spend it if you know how to take care of the factory part.

well my question accually was to fiberglass the dash myself. i'm also looking into doing other parts of the car. or even gel coating. what do you think about that. the reason i'm asking is when a company replaced my windshield they craked the hell out of my dash. it had some little crack that were hard to see but since then there getting bigger.

Could you take a picture of the area you need to fix?
