i bought mine from here just the other day for like $20, it was a pretty good deal and they look good, but i broke the speedometer needle, and didn't get any of the other ones back on right, i plan on attempting to fix them as soon as I get out of HELL, (A.K.A. School) i hope i can fix them.

Yeah that picture is not from my car but I have the same setup and they look awesome at night. Remember to get that look at night you need to change your bulbs. Go to MacEwens website for more details. http://members.aol.com/rmacewen1/page1.html

Yeah even if I wanted to change over from the stock guage faces theres no way I could do it for what companies charge for them.
I do like the reverse indiglo guages. Once I am done restoring my interior and do some other mods I might consider it.

I made my own for next to nothing plus some time. I like them cause I got to put the IROC logo on them, I took out the km/h since I won't need them, and took out the tripometer since mine was broken. Looks pretty clean to me.
And yes, I know the volts gauge is crooked in the pic, it has been fixed.

I used templates I found on the internet and just changed them a little to something I liked. At night, they look good. They are evenly lit, the pic just sucks:

And to think for a few $$$$ more needle removal isn't even a factor. Not to mention 30 risk free $$back satisfaction. There are kits out there that recommend sand paper. Not mine. 2 years against defects. And in the end, the ability to go back to stock in a heartbeat, if collectors are involved.

i too made my own guages but i suggest going with Macewen or the reverse indiglo. id never go back but everyone has their own tastes. anyways thats my .02

at least you didn't break a 145mph speedo needle that you just spent all afternoon pulling out of a junkyard. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!

You can use a needle from a single pointer 85mph or 110mph unit. But, calibration is another matter. You will have endless trail and error, seek out a local speedometer shop, if there is one left in your area.

for those of you that ordered from durangedesign.com - do their gauge inlays drop in w/o removing the needles? can it be done in-car?

Here is a pic of 91-92 white guages from hawks thirdgen parts. They look sweet but they are also rather expensive. Also is it tough to change them, what all do i need to do.

It's pretty straight forward. I have a 92 so the cluster matches yours.
1) Disc. the battery
2) Remove the dash ( like 8-12 torx screws)
3) Underneath your kick panel are 1-3 screws remove them as well
4) Pop out the lower kick panel and piece above that (it all slides together so don't force it)
5) Your headlight switch is kind of a pain. Your gonna want to pop out the plastic piece with a small screw driver and reach up under the dash. You should be able to see your head light switch.
With the head light switch pulled out towards you, reach up with one hand and push the little button on the bottom side of the headlight switch. Its kind of small but its there. This releases the lever and with a little counter clock wise twist, GENTLY pull outwards until it comes out. Your plastic pillar screws should be visible now and you should be able to demount the entire gauge cluster.( 6 screws i think)
6) Remove the plastic case around the gauges and lay the new gauges over them. You'll have to move the needles by hand( not sure to what mph but the macewen instructions let you know how far.
7) Make sure you like the way they fit, and are straight.
8) Remove the tape on the back of the gauges and press them flat.
9) Reassemble in reverse order.
Good Luck
