I like the Iroc turbo hood and I do like the SS hood but the thing is you'll see SS hood on Hondas trucks

I like the SS hood, personally. It looks sleaker. Even though I've got a T/A, I wish they make an SS hood for the Trans Am. That's be interesting.

Mike,
I am currently stationed at Davis-Monthan AFB in Tucson, Arizona. I will be going back to Lackland AFB in San Antonio this summer. Cant wait.
I still say the SS hood is the best out there.

Thats cool, I was born in Abilene/Dyess AFB, Texas. My dad retired from the Air Force last summer. The last base we were at was Kadena AFB, Japan Its good to be back in the states where they have real cars
The SS Hood is the only way to go

The SS hoods are functional in that they offer the same that a cowl hood does at the back of the hood, but the "Ram Air" scoop part of the hood is just cut open, i guess you could rig up something to accept that incoming air but that might be too much of a hassle on a tpi engine

PERSONALLY, I hate that turbo IROC hood. It doesn't follow body lines right and it looks old. To me - it SCREAMS 80's.
The SS hood seems to fit the third gen really well because it brings the old INTO the new.

I like the stock hood with the cheese graters.
If I felt inclined to change my hood, I'd go with an SS hood.
I like cowl induction hoods, but they just don't look "right" on 3rd Gens. I guess the hood is too sloped and there's no classic "overhang" at the rear over the defroster vents like on 1st Gens.
I never liked the turbo hoods.
