You can do it yourself but you are better off paying someone to do it. It is a royal pain I have tried. You really have to know what you are doing or else it will come out lumpy. If you want to tackle it let me know and I will try to give you step by step instructions.

Doing the headliner yourself isn't difficult, it just takes a few days, a work area, and the right materials to do it right.

3M does make a specific high-temp spray adhesive for headliners, etc, called Fast Tack Trim Adhesive. If there are better adhesives out there, please list them so we know.

For a hundred bucks you can have a proffesional do it and it is done right. Yes you can do it yourself if you have the time and Know How!

i just finished doing mine a couple days ago. huge pain in the *** lol. i got some headliner fabric at pepboys for $30. its good stuff with foam backing and good texture on the fabric. also an exact color match. i attached it with 3m spray adhesive 90. its a lot better then spray adhesive 77, 77 doesnt work good at all for headliners. Not sure if 90 is the recommened adhesive but its real strong and glues almost instantly. Been a few days and its still holding good, i hope it doesnt start sagging though.

As the summer months heat up, you WILL get a sagging headliner. 3M 90 will NOT hold in high temp situations. Please read the above link.

Someone just lock all these headliner posts and make the above link a sticky.

Or you could take the shadetree mechanic route and grab a stapler... or some thumb tacks...
