3rd gen t-top conversion?
I've seen guides on converting new camaros to t-top, but haven't been able to find anything on turning a 3rd into one. Does anyone know a source I can find this info? -or have any help on the subject....?
(thanks)

Welcome to the boards,
use this button to find many many many topics on t'top conversion.
But basically what has to be done is cutting your roof off and cutting another one off of another t'top car and welding it onto your car. IT's a huge PITA to do, most people will say just to sell your current car and get a t'top car instead. To bad gm didnt make it where we could just remove a panel off of our roofs and then cut out 2 bars and install all the t'top hard ware and be done instead we have to do it the hard way.

If you're a master bodyman, with access to professional tools, go for it. Otherwise, you could buy a t-top car far cheaper than you could pay someone else to do it. Don't know about you, but I personally don't know anyone I'd trust to cut large sections out of my roof and install t-tops without messing something up.
I'm a pretty decent bodyman, and have succesfully completed several projects involving cutting and rewelding of sheetmetal, but I personally wouldn't attempt it. If you mess up, you just turned your car into a parts car.

Marks Custom Kits is pretty good at it. They seem to have a good deal of expertise in the matter. Check out thier website. Http://www.markscustomkits.com Although you'd have to go to Florida where thier shop is. However I would point out that it does cost alot. I would agree with most everyone else that just selling your car and aquiring another one is a good idea. Unless your car is mint I wouldn't say that it would be worth it.
