from outside, probally would have looked better if i had the metal running horzontialy instead of vertical, but owell, once its all paint black, i dont think it will look bad, atleast a bird wont get sucked in my hood

picture, of the two post on a 4th gen wing, for anyone who has a real 4th gen wing and not the reproduction one made to fit, you will know what im talking about, the two center post are about a inch and half short from the deck , so i basically made a extension on the wing out of metal, then filled it up with bondo, and sanded it all to paint prep,

looks good, was it that teh 4th gen wing pedastals were to short in height? Also did you figure out a way to keep the wings arms on are is it stable enough?

yeah the two center post where shorter then the ends, i wish i would have taken a pic of it before i started, i flip it up side down tommorow and take a pic of it,
you mean the arms that go on the class, ? no i have fastend it yet becuaes i will be taking it off to paint, but i probally just use a dab of db weld or soemthing, bascially once i bolt it down with the ends and two post, it aint going anywhere,
i will take some more pictues to show you what i mean tommorow

Here are some pics from the 4th gen spoiler I converted and installed on my GTA. I have the wing painted and installed, I just never took any more pics before I put it away for the winter.

Thanks Joe. Its too bad I didn't have pics of everything when it was painted and properly attached. I was able to attach the sides of the wing as well but with no pics its hard to explain. I can say the body lines matched perfectly after removing certian areas of fiberglass from the wing. I was able to get a very tight fit to the glass on the inside and outside of the wing. I am a little picky but IMO you would never know it did not belong just by looking at the install.
