"sleepy eye" headlight mod?

Anyone ever see a ford probe with the headlight mod shown in the pic? The light only comes a short way up instead of the entire way. How would this look on a Trans Am if:

1. There was a new headlight in place of the HUGE sealed beam lamp. Maybe the size of an earlier 4th gen Camaro headlight.

2. Would there be a way to attach the light so the beam shoots forward as it should and not kissing the ground 2 feet in front of the car.

Has anyone ever done this and I'm behind the power curve?

Redraif (sorry if I got your member name wrong) has an extremely similar mod to her bird...if not the same.

Actually, redraif's headlights do not come up. She has it so the light comes from the headlights being down. I'll try to find a pic for you.

Although there has been much discussion on this topic, the general idea is that if our headlights were only up so far, the beam of light would be angled up; therefore would defeat the purpose of having headlights aimed at the road. I still plan on trying this mod with a few parts cars I've got. I think it would look extremely cool.

my friend had a probe, he did the sleepy eye lights for a weekend. at night, you could see as much as if you just had your fogs on.

If I put my lights down and hit the parking light switch as it is going down it gets stuck like that temporarily.

I have a separate switch wired up to my headlights, so I can adjust it to any height I want, so I've done that before.
