ok i was taking out my thirdgen seats...and the stud broke that the nut goes on for the drivers seat.....do you think it would be ok if i just drilled a hole through and put a bolt and washer through the bottom

are u talking about through the floor pan? im sure u can but make sure u seal it with caulk or something, if i were u id just use 3 bolts instead of 4...my car now has only 3 cause i have momentarly lost one of the nuts..seems fine, still firm and tight

Do not drill through, just use three. I only have two on the passenger side of my car and it holds the seat like the drivers side(which has all four).

3 is great until you get into an accident and you break your back because the seat twisted. Find somebody to weld a new stud in. If you take the carpet out yourself, it shouldn't cost much.
