GTA bumper swap

GTA bumper swap
I am thinking of buying this 1988 GTA. I do not like that front bumper at all. If I swapped it with a 92 front bumper cover, how would it line up with the ground effects, and could it be done. Anyone with experience or suggestions, please let me know.

it can be done, u need a new metal bumper underneath and gota have a different upper metal braket that hooks to the top of the bumper that u can see when u open ur hood or modify ur old one. would it line up with the other gfx? no probably not, the 91-92 are not as tall as the pre 91's and it would go from 8 inch gfx to 3 inch gfx and would not look very good. if u going to do it might as well go all the way or look for a diffrent car that already has what u want. i went to the older style gfx from a 92 and have some off of a 89 trans am now, was not that much work but u are going to have to repaint and every thing and that car looks like it has a decent paint job unlike mine

I bought it. This afternoon, going to pick it up tomorrow night. Too clean of a car to pass up for the price. The pics don't do it justice. I was extremely impressed when I saw it in person.

yes. I live in Irving, the car was in Carrollton. If you live in the DFW area, keep an eye out for it in the next couple months...... BIG plans for my motor going in it. Can you say Stroked? I can't wait.

I agree with Transam,
That bumper looks waaaay better.
My opinion is kinda biased though..lol
Let me know if you wanna sell the emblems.
i've been looking for a set of the white and gold ones for a long time now...
