some people just try to hard!!

well today i went to pick a friend of mine and he goes to open my door but its locked and decides to give a next hard rank like a retard not seeing me reach over to unlock it. and broke something on it. now i cant open it without useing 2 hands to hold each side of it. the left side of it is broke off of what ever it would be connected to. whats wrong with it and what do i do to fix it????

LOL... I hope you gave him a good punch for his help! You'd have to pull the interior panel off to see if the lock rod just fell out, or if he cracked the handle (it's just cast metal).

Looks like we dont need our friends touching our cars for a while More than likely the rod has been knocked out of its place. Does your door handle have any play in it?

without useing 2 hands to hold each side of it.

Sounds like a broken door handle. Local parts store should carry them. I think the last one I got was around 17 bucks(for my 91 Jimmy, but they should be similiar in price)
