Under the hood light?
Did thirdgens come with a light underneath the hood. My 92 Firebird doesn't seem to have one, and if it does I can't find it. Anyone know if we have them and if we do, where are they?

mine doesnt have a light either. are there supposed to be lights under the dash too? there looks like theres a hole for a light on the passenger side but no light hole on the driver side.

My '87 came with one... Doesn't work... but it has it, yes..
MY question is: How does the light know the hood is UP?
my dad's brother said most have a mercury switch (Which becomes corroded or something, over time)
the guy next door says that this light doesn't use one of those..
We were playing around with it and got it to flicker *ONCE*.. the lightbulb works.. but can't find out how to get the damn thing itself to work.
