squeeky ceiling.... headliner...?
my t-top roof has started to make a squeeking sound up front. i've tried readjusting the t-tops.. and trying to recreate the sound when parked at home, but i can't seem to find what's makign it. when i drive down the road it sounds like someone is rubbing styrofoam together on my roof! oh man it bugs me. My head liner has started to come off in the back a little bit, but i've had no problems with it in the front where i think the squeeking is coming from... could the headliner be the problem? .. or do i need to repair the t-tops? it's so annoying!

ive heard a rag dipped in break fluid run quickly along all the seals helps stop this. makes the rubber expand a bit and helps keep the ttops firm.
i simply use a silicon lube and rub it all over the rubber... doesnt seem to cause any problems... stops the squeeking until the seals get dusty and dry again..
i think sfc's and maybe a roll bar would help this too

ya just dont let that rag with the brake fluid on your paint if you want to keep your paint on the car, i filled up my brake master cylnder to much once, closed the lid and brake fluid shot out, in 10 minutes it ate through the paint on my strut towers.
