has anyone re painted the engine bay while the engine was left in there? I can remove all the crap around it but can I still get into all the tight spots? I have experiance with a spray gun and have a nice one myself. just wanting to know if anyones done it

 

I did mine with the engine in the car, so I can't help you there. I can tell you though that you don't need a spray gun. I did mine with a couple cans of engine enamel and it looks as good as I wanted it too. I don't think the benefits of the spray gun would be worth the extra effort.

 

I resprayed mine....used about 4 cans of satin black..turned out great....

 

I got the paint code off of my car had some base coat mixed and then had them put it in a spray can. shot the base coat and used spray cans of clear and it turned out great.
