Well my door was not opening with the exterior door handle, so I pulled away the trim/panel (thx 4 the person that helped with that) and I took a look, the lil bar that attachs to the handle popped out, so after a few long minutes of frusteration I popped it back into place, with part of my head in the door to see the mechanism i pulled on the outside door handle and it lifted the mechanism, so far so good, i pulled on the interior handle, and it did the exact same thing, looks good, slam the door try 2 open it from the outside, doesnt work, works from the inside still, and if you look at it they are lifting the same piece, anybody have any ideas on why its not working? Thanks in advance.

 

try bending the rod from the outside handle, it is probly not moving quite enough so put alittle preload in it with a bend, it probly got bent when some unexperienced tow truck driver slim jimmed it, I see it quite often, good luck
