I'm also tossing around the idea of the 95 style ram air hood, and the RA II hood. I'm leaning towards the earlier style now, because it's lower, and I'm afraid if I get the RA II style, it's gonna be a bi*ch to see our the windshield. Anyone have either of these hoods, please respond and tell me if it's hard to see. Thanks

i've got the 96/97 style on my bird. it is awkward for about a day or two, cuz it does cut off some visibility. but after that, you get used to it and get a solid feel for what you cant see. the only thing is pulling up real tight w/ the nose. i've still got a good sense for that too, but since i back in everywhere, it doesnt really matter for me.

but yeah, driving for the first time, you think HOLY **** that thing is huge! but now i dont even notice it. it looks like the height should be about the same on that RAII hood as mine.

I personally like the 97 style on the 91-92 birds better. But thats me. Either way it is way better than stock!

I have never really liked the style of the 91-92 firebirds. I really like the 85-90 trans am style. But I have to amit, Black Birds has got to be one of the nicest Firebird I have seen from all years.

i had one on my car for a couple of days, lines matched up horribly so i sent it back. the RAII's are HUGE i measeured the back and it is 5 " high. and i thought it was hard to tell were the front end was with the stock hood... i only have one pic that is horrible quality, and the hood is white, but if you want it i will post it.

Holy crap... the hood in Joshp14's picture fits horribly! I would have sent that back in a hearbeat. Not to knock your car man, because it rocks. Just another reason I will never do buisness with GTAuto. Yet, I have yet to EVER see a fitment problem with the ASCD Ram Air I hood.

Here's another one....

Here's are a couple of crappy pics that are almost 1 1/2 years old. Car looks completely different now with big and skinny Welds on it, but you get the idea.
