Who makes carpet besides ACC??
I've been doing searches on the ACC carpet sold at 1aauto.com, and have found nothing but horror stories on the black carpet turning to green within a couple years. I want black carpetting. I have not been able to find a site that sells anything but ACC carpetting though. Does anyone have any recommendations?? I'd like it to be fairly reasonable in price too. Thanks.

Most places use ACC. I know they have had some problems in the past with black carpet (it used to turn red), but apparently they have improved their dye's UV resistance. Redraif has had ACC carpet in her car for over a year and a half, with not the slightest bit of discoloration. Honestly, of the few other companies whose products I have seen, I'm not impressed. I dealt with ACC on a daily basis when I worked for Year One/Next Gen, and they were pretty good about taking care of any problems (what few there were).

I just had Car Motorsports and impalasscarpet.com send me some fabric samples to inspect. When I get them I'll make a post with my opinions. Car Motorsports is mainly a Grand National & TTA company, but because of the TTAs they have thirdgen carpet. They are supposed to be much better than the ACC mats, and are around the same price. They also have a premium carpet for an extra $75. That's the one I'm thinking about for the IROC. Impalasscarpet.com is supposed to have phenominal quality carpet, but it's insanely expensive. Unless I find myself extremely impressed with their carpet sample, I doubt I'll be spending that kind of money.
