Car: 86 IROC-Z
Engine: 305 TPI
Transmission: 700R4
Axle/Gears: 3.42s/posi/disc
any year gfx will fit

but most likely you will have to change the nose and the rear bumper also other wise it wont look right.
believe it or not this pic below is an 83 Z28 but it has 92 Z28 gfx on it just for an example

What needs to be done to a SportCoupe to give it gfx.
Personally I would go with the 91-92 style ground effects. What needs to be done to you SC is replacing the front impact absorber with a 85 and up one
finding a 85-92 front bumper
91-92 Front spoiler, rear bumper, rocker panel gfx, and door gfx, rear quarter gfx.
Now you will need to drill holes into your car, I strongly suggesting you go to a junk yard and finding a 91-92 camaro and making templates of the hole locations on that car and lining up the template in the same spot on your car and drilling the hole required. Make sure to make it as simple as possible, have the template fit to the body lines of the car.
You will need to drill 3 slits into the bottom of the front fender to allow the lower spoiler to be bolted on. 2 small holes will need to be drilled into the back part of the fenders for the rocker panel gfx to be screwed onto. These are behind the emblems on the rocker panels. 1 hole will need to be drilled just infron of the rear wheel fender well and just behind the end of the door.
You need to drill 6 holes in the door for the gfx to attach to it.
The rear quarter panel gfx will need two holes drilled.

Now heres the easy part, the front and rear bumpers will bolt up with no modification what so ever. YOU must replace the impact absorber bar underneath the front bumper or else the bar will push on the bumper and make it bulge out.
Also If you were like me your SC was basic of the basic and had no spoiler, ther are 6 holes in the deck lid, and 3 on each side of the rear quarter panel.

This isnt a great pic but it gives you an idea, of what needs to be done.

sweet!! thanks so much.. i have one more question. i've heard that the sizes arent the same on the later models as the earlier. is this true? i think the earlier rocker panels were shorter or something...

The 82-84 gfx are smaller than the 85-90 and 91-92 gfx. And the 3 piece spoiler's are the same for these years 82-86,and 91-92 the 87-90 3 piece spoiler had the 3rd brake light and GM had to make the spoiler bigger to accomodate the size. I would rather get the 87-90 3 piece spoiler if your car doesnt have a spoiler to begin with. If not and you have a spoiler then leave it on there because the 87-90 3 piece had slightly different hole locations.
