racing stripes

ok im paintin stripes on my car this weekend, im painting them cause my clear coat is all "forked" up but i wanna get some input on should i have stripes from the front spoiler to the bottem of the rear bumper as in the pics in the post "my current pics" or should i do just the hood,roof, and hatch? thanks for your input

thats what i wanna do, but i hear alot of people say it looks bad....though heritage stripes look good too, i think im gonna do heritage stripes first cause i can always paint more on

I'm not big fan of putting stripes on the entire car. Thats something ford does. I prefered the heritage stipes before the 92s came out. Thats why I got mine.

put the stripes on the hood, dont go onto the nose, it looks better when they are just on the hood.

i like the stripes all the way to the front spoiler, but stopping at the rear spoiler (like the heritage stripes)

i agree with green rs and nolan, dont put them all the way down, just on the hood and decklid

By the way, on the heritage cars and the z's are the headlight pockets painted black or is it just clear coat over the bare plastic?

Here is a pic of mine.

My Stripes are actually Vinyl Sticker, I just went out & baught a roll 12" wide & put them on bymyself..
