not that hard.......depends what option you want to go...i found a local pick and pull that had a interior that was 75 percent complete..parts were in perfect condition then hunted for the rest...other option is clean everything with the proper solvent and use a quality vinal dye. I did this 10 years ago on a 71 charger i still have and it held up perfect..then the carpet is the most pain in the rear, but with a sharp blade and a cool head no prob at all.. just take your time

couldnt you jusst buy some type of carpet at a carpet store, then change all the panels in the back, the door panels, and sail panels to whatever color the carpet is. i got grey seats out of a junkyard and my car is blue, but my idea was to paint the car either a darker blue with grey racing stripes, or a white with blue racing stripes..

Wow, that carpet looks soo good, your interior is going to look great. I changed mine from orange to grey and am very happy but seeing that i think ill be getting a new carpet soon.

Just FYI,

As you're changing your interior over to a different color, I wanted to let you know that Summit Racing carries carpeted floor mats (molded to fit your interior) with about 150 available embroidered designs. I just ordered some black mats with "RS" in big, gray letters to match my black carpet and dark gray seats. (But, they're not in yet) You might want to check it out. I know YearOne has custom mats, but their selection is limited to the Firebird logo or IROC logo. I'm pretty sure you can get "Firebird," "TransAm," "Camaro," or whatever you need. Also, regarding the plastic panels, I know several places carry spray paint specifically formulated to paint interior plastic parts. Although you probably wouldn't want to use it on the armrests that get a lot of wear, it would be good for the plastic in the back. Anyway, just thought it might help.

thanks for the info on the floor mats....they are a must

molded carpet is the way to go..our cars have to many contours to use the roll stuff..the dye looks great if done right but i have seen ppl. use spray paint. and 9 times out of 10 it looks like crap.
