5" Camaro Spoiler Update?

Anyone have more info on these? I just called up ASCD but Rex was not in and i did not even bother to ask the receptionist if they were available. I will call him back on Monday. I also tried to sign up for the web site that was set up just for this spoiler, but for some reason it did not go through for me, so i just did not bother a second time! I would also bring back the old thread but the search function is down and i can not find it in the 5 pages that i can access. So, anyone with new info? I am guessing no since it has not been posted recently, but i could always be wrong! Later guys

Really?! Not too many thirdgens around here, well nice ones anyway, so i doubt i would have the same luck! If you do happen to get a hold of it, maybe if ASCD has not made a mold of it yet, you could send them that spoiler so that they could make a mold of it instead of starting from scratch! I forget if they had a mold and just needed to produce them again or if they needed to start again new. Ah, just an idea. Later

they might wonder why some stranger is so interested in buying the used spoiler off their car though

You just got one today? I'm confused, the secretary said he would be out until Monday. Whatever the case may be, i really would like this spoiler. Wonder how much it will set us back.

I wouldn't expect it any time soon. That's pretty much the same answer everyone has been getting for about the last 6 months. I'm beginning to wonder if he every REALLY intends to make it available.

See that's the sole reason I think about making the switch to 5.0 mustangs.......the ****ty manufacturers we have to deal with! Nobody wants to make a damn thing specifically for these cars worth having except for a few exceptions. And if you can find parts worth having it's twice as much as what it would cost for a mustang. Not to mention the fact that we have no support from GM unless its something for other cars that just happens to fit our vehicles. If some mustang guys would have rallied together and contacted one of their manufacturers like we have on this spoiler they'd had one for them in just a few months time. Had I remembered all the bull**** in dealing with 3rd gens I'd never have sold my Ram Air! Sorry guys, I'm done ranting....for the moment.

I hope the person who contacts him explains that WE...the many of us who want the spoiler would like a serious commitment on when it will be done. I think I can speak collectively that despite how much I want one I'd rather buy something else if he's not serious about it or it's gonna take him a year. I don't know about you guys but I'm not gonna hold off my paint job months and months just to wait for a stupid spoiler. If he isn't really gonna make the damn thing he needs to let us know so I can start patching the holes and fitting a high rise spoiler.

Heck yeah, id rather search for one if he isnt gonna make any new ones. Its better than waiting forever to find out hes not going to do it.

ive seen a couple of pics of the 5 inch iroc spoilers... and there seem to be 2 different styles on that has a likeness to the actual racecar iroc spoiler, more upright.... the other one seems to be just and extension of the existing iroc spoiler.... Angle wise... any one got any pics of them....

Well, you can check out the other thread but i was unable to get an answer this time i called. Now he has the Flu and i was told to check back next week. The guy who answered the phone did not know anything about the spoiler being made again but he knew of it and knew that it was no longer available. If anyone else would like to contact them, the number is 1-865-982-3091. What ever happened to the mailing list? He agreed to be apart of it so i would imagine he would also intend on seeing something done about this spoiler! If not that is very bad business to lead an unsuspecting market, (meaning us) on like this. Don't get me wrong, i have one of their hoods and it turned out pretty good, but c'mon, this has been months. My car will be a damn classic soon! Later

If anyone would like to call them up and double check, go right ahead! More people calling about it would probally get them off of their asses on this issue and possibly some results will come out of it. I would just like to hear it from Rex Orr that they will no longer be made and i will be happy, none of this in a few months stuff. That was six months ago! Later

while this is off-topic , that is exactly why I will never buy a single Spohn product , a while back he kept pushing back a release date of a certain product , promising stuff all over internet ,and he ended up making it two years later , spohn can go .... himself , I'll be more than happy to spend all my money at hotchkis and other places... spohns customer service is ****ty at best and his idea of "making business" is pretty warped. (like not asnwering phones/emails for a long time while he was "moving").

3rdgens have terrible aftermarket support and someone needs to realize this before people get pissed and stop taking their crap.

should I mention GTAuto ? haha , guy supposedly got busted drug trafficking accross mexican border , LOL. (not to mention he screwed me over on a certain deal as well , but luckily it didn't cost me any $$$ , just time I wasted on a little project of ours).

I am going to give him some more time. I really like that spoiler. Hopefully it will not turn out like Gtauto<-----I highly doubt he will not make the spoiler. Just my opinion.
