Dupont Metallic Blue with Chroma Preiemer
I am planning on painting my car soon with Duponts Chroma Preimer, and Metallic Blue. The Finish I am looking for is just like the blue on Jeff Gordons #24 race car. Its Basically a Metallic Blue with like, lets say 15 different shades, from dark blue - light blue.
I E-Mailed Dupont, and they gave me the code for the metallic blue base, and told me to use the chroma preimer.
If there is anyone who has pictures of a 3rd gen with any mettalic or pearl blue, please attach pics.
I am also wondering, if anyone has used the chroma preimer before, and if they know exactyly what it does?

The Mettallic Blue
I attached a bunch of pictures of the Jeff Gordon #24 car. If you lok at all the different pictures, you can see the different shades of blue the paint & special preimer create, froma very very light baby blue to a dark blue almost Black...

That's a pretty nice color....should look good on a thirdgen. As far as Gordon's sexual orientation is concerned let's all remember that his wife is divorcing him for fooling around with other women.

OK, now I hate NASCAR and I could care less, but from what I've heard, they never said he was caught fooling around with another WOMAN. I've heard that they never mentioned any sex in the official reports. Now like I said, I think NASCAR is like nonacholic beer, all the bad stuff and none of the good, so Im not calling anyone anything. Just saying what I heard. Way cool color though. Let us know how the primer works out.

It was another woman, since she was a playmate. When the divorce goes to trial, everyone will hear the story.
Besides, Jeff has set more records and had a greater impact on the sport than most. Now, it seems Jr. may do the same. Its all good for the sport...
I agree with your choice in color. I have looked into the Cromalusion color they ran in the Winston a few years back. Besides being a bit pricey, it has a pigment in it that is close to what is used in money. That makes it a bit hard to get sometimes.
