ss hood ques???

does anyone who owns or have seen the fiberglass ss hoods that are around 380.00 or so know if they offer more clearance for airfilters than a stock rs hood? you know the hood i mean the one up top on the red car or the green one on those links up top. any info would be apreciated. i emailed one of the guys from one of those parts places and they never emailed back!!! oh well!

They add around 2.5 maybe 3 inchs of extra clearance.
